I start from first-principles questions: what constitutes learning, how cognition changes across media, and why institutional design shapes participation. I use theory from instructional science, sociotechnical systems, and adult learning to clarify blended postgraduate education, especially for Hong Kong programmes balancing academic rigour, professional flexibility, and regional knowledge development.
